This page explains what personal data Gọi Xe 5 Sao (goixe5sao.vn) collects, what we use it for, how long we keep it, who we share it with and your rights. We only ask for what the trip needs and we never sell your data.
1. Who is responsible for your data
- Gọi Xe 5 Sao — a private car booking service in Vietnam run by an individual business owner; cars operate under contract through a licensed transport cooperative.

- Legal basis: Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15 and Decree 356/2025/ND-CP.
2. What we collect
- When you book: name, phone number, pickup and drop-off (hotel or address), travel dates and times, number of passengers, car type and your note. No account needed.
- Messages you exchange with us on Zalo or by SMS about your trip.
- Technical data: your IP address (to block spam bookings) and cookies (see section 7).
We do not collect health data, biometrics, bank accounts or card numbers. You pay the driver directly.
3. How we use it
- To quote, confirm your trip by Zalo or SMS, assign a driver and pick you up at the right place and time.
- To prepare the transport contract required for contract passenger vehicles in Vietnam.
- To handle complaints and prevent spam or fraud.
- Marketing: we only message you about the trip you booked. We send offers only if you agree, and you can say no at any time.
4. Who we share it with
- The driver and dispatcher handling your trip: name, phone, pickup, drop-off, time and note. Trip offers sent to several drivers show only the route, time and area — not your phone number or address.
- Technical providers the website needs, with only the data necessary: data storage (Supabase), messaging (Zalo), distance and map services (Goong — coordinates only), maps (OpenFreeMap), web hosting.
- Competent authorities when the law requires it.
Some providers host servers outside Vietnam (for example in Singapore), so your data may be stored abroad. We only use providers with security measures and encrypted connections.
5. How long we keep it
- Zalo bot messages: up to 3 months, then deleted automatically.
- Bookings and customer details: as long as needed for customer care, reconciliation, complaints and legal record-keeping; then deleted or anonymised.
- IP addresses used against spam are kept only briefly and deleted automatically within 1 day.
- If you ask us to delete your data (section 6), we do it sooner, except what the law requires us to keep.
6. Your rights
- Know what data we hold about you, see it and ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete or restrict it, object to processing, or withdraw consent (this does not affect what was processed before).
- Complain to us or to the competent Vietnamese authority.
- How: message or call +84 825 220 215 or email goixe5sao@gmail.com from the phone number or account you booked with, so we can verify it is you. We acknowledge within 2 working days.
- Booking for someone else: only give the details the trip needs and let the traveller know.
7. Cookies
We only use necessary cookies — no advertising cookies or third-party trackers:
- A referral code when you open a referral link — kept 30 days so the booking is credited correctly.
- Your light / dark theme choice — stored on your device only.
8. Security
- The website uses HTTPS. The database can only be accessed by our server, never directly by browsers.
- Each manager has a personal account and every booking status change is logged.
- No system is perfectly secure; if a data breach happens we will handle it and notify as the law requires.
9. Changes
When we change this policy we update this page and the date at the top. Major changes are announced on the website before they apply.
